• Formulation: Our formulations are cosmetic-grade and conform to the rigid CTFA (Cosmetic, Toiletries, and Fragrance Association) guidelines. Formulations are blended from the finest ingredients and our extensive library of botanical extracts allows us to develop blends to fulfill very specific product claims.
• Fragrance: The development of a signature aroma is of paramount importance to the broad acceptance of any new collection. We develop a unique aroma for each product; gender neutral and broadly pleasing, yet at the same time sufficiently unique as to be a memorable part of any guest’s stay.
• Colour: Formulation colour is an important component in the overall presentation of our products, allowing both guests and housekeeping to easily distinguish between the formulations. We can accurately colour match any PMS solid colour shade within our labs to meet specific product and marketplace needs.
• Packaging: Stylish and innovative packaging is a hallmark of the Gilchrist & Soames experience. No detail is overlooked—bottle shape, cap style, font, colour, design elements—all are meticulously blended into a unique visual presentation and overall usability.
